Historisches Bohrhausmagazin im Salinenpark Historisches Bohrhausmagazin im Salinenpark

The historical drill house magazine was built in 2008 in the Salinenpark to complement the municipal museum.

A salt and brine museum was set up in the Salinenpark in the valley at Einsiedelwald to complement the municipal museum for the Landesgartenschau (2008).

Old photographs show moments from life on the former salt works.

Equipment gives an impression of the hard work.

The history of salt is presented from the briquetage technique from Celtic times to its use as an industrial raw material for tens of thousands of modern products today.
