A source of inspiration springs forth

The "Quellenweg" pilgrimage trail has been marked out on well-known, ancient local paths and consists of several routes. The pilgrimage routes were developed by the kfd (Catholic Women‘s Association of Germany). The women saw discovering not only visible sources, but also inner sources, as a way of getting things moving.

Along the paths, there are not only wonderful nature but also stations and gems to discover. The first tour starts in Ravenstein-Merchingen and takes you via Hüngheim, Unterwittstadt, Ballenberg and Erlenbach.

The Quellenweg trail takes you past old lime trees, wayside shrines and fountains whose history will provide new inspiration and food for thought.
