The Guttenbergweg trail takes you over the Eduardshöhe to Neckarmühlbach to Guttenberg Castle with the German Griffin Observatory and through the Mühlbach valley back to the starting point.

The trail leads past the forest adventure trail. Here, young hikers in particular can search for all kinds of forest dwellers on the stalking trail and find out about their lives and characteristics. On the activity trail, young and old can take part in sporting activities or enjoy the magnificent view of the large Neckar loop between Neckarmühlbach and Haßmersheim, the former Deutschmeister residence of Horneck Castle and the small wine town of Gundelsheim from the Eduardshütte viewpoint.

You continue along narrow forest paths to Neckarmühlbach. Through the village, follow the markings up to Guttenberg Castle (detour within sight of the marked path). The unique, undestroyed Staufer fortress has been inhabited by its owner family, the Barons of Gemmingen, since 1449. The route continues through the Mühlbach valley to the Mühlenschenke.

After crossing the district road in the direction of Siegelsbach, the trail follows winding paths through the forest back to the starting point.
